About Us
YTLC inspires today's youth ages 4 to 16 to value stem education in the areas of technology, engineering, math, and science. Our vastly experienced award winning teachers present concepts in elementary engineering, robotics, computer programming, and much more utilizing Lego Education kits to build and program life models that every student can identify and experiment with in creative and imaginative lessons with a curriculum that correlates with the Georgia Performance Standards.
We know that nothing is more important than the safety of your child. As such our instructors are certified or qualified instructors with years of experience in the field of child education. All instructors are college graduates or are currently enrolled and working towards their degrees.
YTLC instructors focus on learning through technological fields of study. Our instructors encourage children to learn creative problem solving, independence, and self confidence through every project. Instructors teach engineering principals, science principals, hand eye coordination, dexterity, engineering part descriptions, and map reading skills. Instructors have the YTLC curriculum to follow in every class we offer. Each class attended by a student builds on the previous curriculum until the end of a course. Handouts are available at every class meeting to show parents what students have studied and learned. In our classes children work in a team based environment to complete builds. Team building exercises are important for the growth of all children.
